Do you, your community group or organisation need funds?
New funding is now available for eligible organisations and young people based in, or providing services and activities in Haltwhistle and its surrounding parishes.
In Spring 2023, Haltwhistle Partnership took over the running of two charity shops with the agreement that surplus profits would be given back to the community. Now, thanks to the generous donations from our customers, a Fund is being set up to help community projects in the area.
Grants will be awarded by a Panel made up of local volunteers and members of Haltwhistle Partnership. The Fund will be administered by Haltwhistle Partnership.
HOW IT WORKS
The Fund is open to new and existing community projects that benefit residents in Haltwhistle and its surrounding parishes. We welcome all eligible applications, however, ideas that benefit young people, the local environment and projects which may attract additional funding to the town are of particular interest.
There are two main grant funds and a Young Person’s fund (see below):
Small grant fund – for applications up to £1,500
Large grant fund – for applications up to £10,000
Please read our Eligibility Criteria below and Application Guidance notes below before applying.
We invite applications from young people aged up to 21 to develop talents and experience opportunities that would otherwise be out of their reach. This may be to help access equipment or training or to participate in philanthropic activities ie building a toilet block in Nigeria etc. See the Application Guidance notes on the Young Person’s Application form.
