Page 8 of 9 Roman Army Museum (Carvoran): The life of the Roman soldier comes alive at the Roman Army Museum, on the site of Magnis Roman Fort on the Wall. Within the displays you will see how many nationalities were represented within the Roman Army, and you might be invited to `join up'. As well as Roman artefacts there is also the superb `Eagles Eye' video where you can soar with an Eagle and `fly' along Hadrian's Wall to Vindolanda with a thrilling journey showing a virtual reconstruction of the Wall as it would have been during the occupation. Open: Daily from February to October. Times may vary. For current prices and opening hours see the Roman Forts and Museums leaflet. Discount ticket available jointly with Vindolanda.
