Although Haltwhistle won the Best Small Town Category in the Northumbria in Bloom Awards 2007 we can't rest on our laurels. The judges for this year's competition will be making their first inspection of the town on 17th April.  Many thanks to all those who participate in making the town's floral displays first class.  If you would like to be involved in Northumbria in Bloom and want to find out more, please contact Gill on 01434 321242.

The works on Haltwhistle Burn pathway are now complete and the footpath has been re-opened.  Haltwhistle Partnership would like to thank local residents for their patience during the refurbishment works and hopes they enjoy using the new pathway and bridges.
